A Derby Day Soiree featuring big hats, bow ties, julep jams, rock, rye, & roses. There will be Derby hat decorating, exclusive race viewing, and a limited opportunity to sip whisky from a teacup.

For nearly 40 years, Shakedown Street has been performing the immense catalog of the Grateful Dead. The ever-shifting repertoire draws from homegrown idioms steeped in traditional Americana, folk, blues, jazz, and rock and roll, with a healthy dose of the avant-garde. Dig deeper into the songs, their storylines, and the characters inhabiting them, and you’ll find enduring tales of murder and intrigue, gamblers and thieves, sinners and saints, tales of everyman, mythic and surreal, blue-collar rhapsodies in a kaleidoscopic tapestry awash in color, sound, and light.

Shakedown Street’s own story finds them continuing to play to enthusiastic sold-out audiences, while marching up and down, going around and around their beloved home in the mountains of Colorado. The band happily finds itself in the trusted role of connecting past, present and future Grateful Dead fans with the vital and vibrant energies of improvisational live music. All of our events are FOOD DRIVE EVENTS. Every show supports www.consciousalliance.org

NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL or beverages of any kind. It jeopardizes our liquor license. We have offerings besides beer! N/A, G/F, Boozy slushies, Wine, Kombucha, Cider, Seltzer, Ginger Beer, Nitro Cold Brew Coffee house-made fruited lemonade... Water bottles are allowed/encouraged but all drinking vessels MUST be emptied upon entry. No exceptions. Backpacks+Bags are subject to search.

SEATING | SPECIAL REQUESTS:

Please arrive early for preferred seating. Be considerate of others, sit at tables appropriate for your party size and share. Chairs are not for stowage.

We receive many special requests to reserve seating. Please understand that we are unable to "hold" seats unless you are a large group coordinating multiple tables or have special needs requests. Thank you for your understanding.

DANCING | SPACE
