This Workshop is to serve as an introduction to the sport of fly fishing for ages 18 and under. It will be conducted over a single day starting at 9am and concluding at 12pm.

CI Prep Orientation Workshop Friday November 6th (9 AM to 12 Noon).
Fly Fishers International offers an opportunity for anyone wanting to become a certified fly casting instructor. This 3 hour workshop will introduce you to the FFI program and give you an idea of what is involved to become certified. Whether you just want to improve your own fly casting skills or whether you want to help others learn the joy of fly fishing, there has never been a better time to become a FFI Certified Casting Instructor.
We will first meet in a classroom. You will learn about what resources are available and where to find them. We will then proceed outside where you will get an overview of what the CI Exam is all about. We will demonstrate most of the performance tasks, as well as some of the teaching tasks.
Attend the FFI Fly Casting Skills Development Clinic, Saturday, November 7 from 9 AM to 2 PM. This workshop will utilize the Fly Fishers International Fly Casting Skills Development Program (FCSD). The mission of the FCSD is to give all fly anglers a guide to learning and improving casting skills that address increasingly advanced fishing situations. Fly Fishers International Certified Casting Instructors will help you with the various casting levels offered. Some of you may want to try and receive confirmation of achievement for these levels. All levels of fly anglers are encouraged to attend this workshop.
