The Toronto based production duo of Mike ("Digits") Gonek and Evan "Yo Ev" Norton. The duo masterfully create an identifiable brand of contemporary party music, influenced by hip hop, electronic dance music and tropical riddims. Their remix and original productions over the past year have landed them the highest acclaim of their peers. Today there is no doubt that you will hear a Torro Torro record played at the biggest parties the world has to offer, all the way down to the intimate tastemaker clubs nurturing the growth of global bass.

Torro Torro first broke onto the international music scene in September 2010 with their debut single, "Knockin' Boots" (released on T&A Records). The single became an overnight favorite in the international dance community. Having released Knockin’ Boots to much acclaim the duo followed up in fine form this with their smasher Blue Blouse which has since become a Summer anthem, making its mark on the iTunes Electronic Music Charts and continues to receive regular spins on BBC Radio. As Torro Torro's original and remix work continues to push them into the international big room party scene, they have also found themselves at the forefront of an exciting new genre called, "moombahton" (global mid tempo bass). The duo were introduced to the genre from its inception through their working relationship with T&A Records. Within months of Moombahton's creation, Torro Torro discovered a number their original creations lending to the early development of the genre. Their popular Toronto monthly event SLOWED attracts performing artists from around the world. SLOWED has grown into a touring brand and can be found popping up in various cities across North America. They have quickly achieved some of the top charting Moombahton releases in 2011, including their remixes of Turn Up The Volume, New Life, and most notably their Fall 2011 remix of Dillon Francis and Diplo's "Que, Que"

?Torro Torro have achieved early success in 2012 with their remixes of Why We Fwee (Dooze Jackers) & Squad Up (Clockwork), both receiving tons support internationally. Their forthcoming remix of “Go Deep” for Wax Motif and Neoteric on Southern Fried was recently premiered on Diplo’s XM Radio show garnering massive support throughout Miami Music Week and South by South West; set to be released in June. The duo are also in the process of completing a follow up EP of their own that will be out early this summer, so make sure you keep watch for updates on touring and release dates.?
